We are horizontal connectors empowering teams across the Experiences organization with the strategic prioritization, investments, resources, data, insights and technology required to accelerate results in service of our goals.

Agency Development Director, EA Advertising & Sponsorships

As Agency Development Director, EA Advertising & Sponsorships, you will oversee and deliver 8 figure global revenue forecasts across our AAA games portfolio. You will partner with every aspect of this fast-growing business working with studio leadership, brand leadership, legal, finance, and the A&S LT both. This important role requires a compelling mix of advertising partnerships and sales experience along with relationship building and creative and analytical skills. As Agency Development Director, you will define the enterprise level advertising strategy for their respective media agencies across EA's portfolio of products. You will pioneer in this growing revenue stream, maximizing value across EA's experiences and consumer touch points through B2B advertising and sponsorship activations. You will be the top-down, long-term strategic visionary and bottoms-up execution-focused growth operator.

You will report to the VP EA Advertising & Sponsorships you and your team will contribute to the go-to-market strategy and delivery of our revenue targets, and managing important executive level relationships with agencies. You will accelerate the growth, innovation and transformation of our advertising business by:


Responsibilities

  • Lead an entrepreneurial agency partnerships team

  • Oversee their media agencies, building senior level commercial relationships, agency agreements, trainings, integrations, and custom partnership opportunities in service of delivering EA's advertising revenues Year-over-year

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting process in collaboration with Finance, Revenue Strategy and Product teams

  • Build a pipeline of opportunities across the EA portfolio using agency partnership and brand relationships

  • Partner with A&S Insights to drive change throughout the organization to support inventory adoption and expanding the A&S footprint

  • Oversee inventory and package pricing over product and service life cycle to maximize revenue whilst maintaining long-term customer value perception for our agencies

  • Lead change and process improvement when new opportunities arise in this rapidly evolving industry space


Your Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience leading diverse sales and partnership teams

  • Experience establishing and growing new business from inventory development, packaging, and execution

  • Experience managing enterprise advertising sales teams

  • Experience collaborating with advertising technology teams

  • Comfortable managing and working with distributed/remote teams

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco)
    • $178,200 - $269,500 USD
  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo)
    • $171,200 - $252,700 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
