The Senior Specialist, PE Operations is an individual contributor role that reports to the Manager, Workday Solutions in People Services. This is a hybrid role with at least three days per week in the office where you will collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries and time zones. This role may involve occasional virtual meetings outside standard hours to support global teams.
Responsibilities:
Process Oversight and Operations
- Ensure PE processes are consistent, and compliant with company policies and local regulations.
- Implement structured knowledge transfer across global teams.
Process Transitions
- Lead the transition of work from People Partners and Centers of Expertise to People Services or Shared Services teams.
- Follow established playbooks, quality assure documentation and ensure all transitions meet governance and data security standards.
Process Improvement and Change Enablement
- Participate in projects to re-engineer and automate end-to-end PE processes such as onboarding and data management for enhanced scalability and efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops, communicate transformation goals, and help teams adopt new ways of working.
Automation and Technology Enablement
- Identify opportunities for automation or AI-driven improvements.
- Partner with the People Services Automation team to design and implement solutions that enhance efficiency for employees and managers.
Business Operations and Project Support
- Execute key operational tasks including compliance checks, process reviews, and audits.
- Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders.
- Provide leadership in collaboration with global and regional teams to support ongoing transformation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or Shared Services environments.
- Experience transitioning work into Shared Services or Service Centers.
- Strong understanding of HR operational processes and governance models.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with HR tools such as Workday and ServiceNow.
Language Requirements
- English fluency is required for communication with global teams.
- Mandarin and/or Korean proficiency is preferred, as this role will support processes and stakeholders in China and Korea.
