We’re looking for an Associate Producer I to help deliver these new experiences from early incubation through release. You will report to the Lead Producer and partner closely with Game Design, as well as the engineering, UX/XD, product, QA, and analytics teams.
This role is ideal for a producer who enjoys building new things in a live environment and thrives in ambiguity while driving clarity for the team.
What You'll Do:
- Drive End-to-End Feature Delivery: Own day-to-day production for new Companion gameplay experiences — from early prototypes through polished, player-facing releases.
- Translate Creative Vision into Execution Plans: Partner closely with Game Design to convert design intent into scoped milestones, sprint plans, and achievable deliverables.
- Champion Iteration & Quality: Support rapid prototyping, playtesting, and refinement cycles to ensure ideas evolve into compelling, high-quality mobile experiences.
- Manage Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate engineering, design, UX, QA, and product stakeholders to ensure clarity on scope, priorities, and dependencies.
- Shape Emerging Initiatives and Translate Ideas into Actionable Plans: Help define problem spaces, bring structure to ambiguity, and shape ideas into actionable production plans.
- Support Playtesting & Iteration: Help structure playtests, prototype reviews, and feedback loops to ensure fast learning cycles in a 0→1 environment.
- Proactively Manage Risk: Identify timeline, UX, technical, and platform risks early and drive mitigation plans.
- Drive Release Readiness: Coordinate QA validation, rollout strategy, telemetry checks, feature flag planning, and post-launch monitoring.
- Communicate Clearly: Provide structured status updates, decision-ready summaries, and escalation transparency to leadership.
Qualifications:
5+ years of production experience in games or consumer software, with experience shipping features end-to-end.
Experience working on mobile and/or live service products.
Demonstrated experience operating in early-stage or incubation-style development environments.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and production tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Proven ability to coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and manage complex dependencies.
Clear, structured communication skills tailored to engineering, creative, and leadership audiences.
Passion for building engaging player experiences; familiarity with EA SPORTS FC or Ultimate Team is a plus.
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting rapid prototyping teams or experimental feature pods.
Familiarity with mobile release workflows, rollout strategies, and live telemetry validation.
Experience working closely with gameplay/system designers in feature incubation.
Why This Role Matters:
This role sits at the center of FC’s next evolution — helping define and deliver entirely new gameplay surfaces for millions of players worldwide. You’ll operate in a focused, high-ownership team where clarity, velocity, and smart iteration are key.
