This position is hybrid and operates out of our Stockholm, Sweden based office.
Electronic Arts is looking for a creative Associate Social Media Content Creator to develop assets to take Battlefield owned social media channels to the next level. Reporting into the Sr.Manager, Social for Battlefield, you will produce visual design content to engage and excite the FPS community around the future of Battlefield. In collaboration with the Creative, Brand and Social teams you will be a driving force behind captivating static content that helps to create a first of its kind social presence for Battlefield.
You will create custom static assets focusing on visual design and formatting for social channels following the greater platform strategies of the department. You will be involved with the development, creation, and publication of assets on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Content Creation: Produce and design engaging single image static assets, seamless carousel statics, infographics, meme images, and original designs using delivered in game renders, assets and stock images for publication on social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Add motion graphic elements to videos created by other team members.
- Visual Design Editorial Practices: An understanding of graphic design theory and what makes scroll stopping content on social.
- Content Development: Create static asset post concepts based on the game itself, gaming
- trends, marketing materials, or pop culture trends that are visually appealing and designed to
- engage a social audience.
- Workflow Tracking: Stay up to date with Airtable (task management tool) and address notes promptly. We also have a North American team to assist with tasks.
- Platform Expertise: Monitor social trends, on TikTok, X, and Instagram, to find better ways to connect Battlefield with the gaming audience at large on social media.
- Platform Management: Assist Social Media managers with coordination efforts, including content calendar management, copywriting, and publishing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Content Creation Experience: Direct experience producing and designing static images, carousels, infographics, for social channels that drove account growth in impressions and engagement within the gaming industry.
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and proficiency within the Adobe Suite concerning still image design and motion graphics required.
- Visual Design: Direct experience creating templates and design guides for brands, events, or social campaigns.
- Content Development: 2+ years of experience developing custom images for social platforms including X, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- Experience with Gaming: An expert understanding of the FPS genre on social media and how social media fits into a community-minded marketing strategy. Battlefield knowledge is a big plus.
- Social Media Knowledge: Knowledge of gaming and platform trends and an understanding of how to incorporate them into social content production.
