FRANCHISE STRATEGY AT ELECTRONIC ARTS:
The Manager of Franchise Strategy will help drive growth strategies for EA SPORTS' football games including College Football and Madden NFL. You will combine strategic thinking with deep analytical expertise to identify and evaluate new business opportunities for EA SPORTS’ football brands while also accelerating growth across the ecosystem of current products and services. You will excel in data modeling, brief writing, and have a profound understanding of the video game industry, focusing on sales acquisition, in-game engagement and monetization, and net new lines of business.
OVERVIEW:
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead strategic initiatives across all football franchises in the EA SPORTS football ecosystem. Additionally, you will focus on synthesizing data to support decisions and uncover new growth opportunities for EA SPORTS football brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help develop growth strategies that align with the long-term goals of College Football, Madden NFL and other new growth opportunities for EA SPORTS football brands.
Analyze broad ranges of market data, including sales, in-game data and competitive analysis to inform opportunities and challenges, then create strategies and tactics to drive results to improve our in and out of game experiences, our marketing funnel and our commercial health.
Identify, measure, and support opportunities to drive multi-product and out of game connections to further enhance the EA SPORTS football ecosystem.
Create detailed business briefs to justify and communicate strategic decisions.
Collaborate with Studio, Commercial, Marketing and Finance teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Support the identification and quantification of new opportunities beyond current product, brand, and entertainment offerings.
Partner with Consumer Insights to research audience behavior and growth potential.
Curate reports and presentations for all partners
Conduct market research and partner with Corporate Strategy and Commercial Intelligence to apply best practices to accelerate the growth of EA SPORTS’ football products.
Use Tableau, Excel, and other data systems to create comprehensive models for evaluating new business opportunities.
Combine large datasets into clear insights that inform strategic decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years within the gaming or entertainment industry.
Expertise in data modeling and the ability to synthesize complex datasets.
Proficiency in Tableau, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
Strong brief writing skills with the ability to communicate complex strategies clearly.
Experience with industry KPIs related to sales acquisition and in-game engagement.
Experience working collaboratively in a matrixed team environment.
Evaluate and propose new growth opportunities for existing and new products.
Knowledge of consumer behavior and digital monetization strategies.
Passion for American Football and EA SPORTS products.
