Physics Software Engineer Intern
Contract: 12-month Internship

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in-office)

Responsibilities:
We're looking for an Intern Software Engineer (Physics) Intern to join our Battlefield team. You'll be part of a group of experienced physics engineers who build the systems that bring our game worlds to life - from vehicles and character movement to physical interactions.
You will build and test features, integrating them into the game’s codebase.
Take part in Agile processes such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.You will collaborate with QA and development teams to identify and fix issues.
You will learn and apply best practices in requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing.
You will develop your skills in real-time physics systems used in large-scale games.
Eligibility:
You are currently studying in the penultimate year of undergraduate study with a planned placement year.
You are available to commence a full-time 12 month placement in July 2026.
You are eligible to work in the UK without additional visa or relocation support.
Skills:
C++ knowledge
Experience of debugging and profiling tools
3D maths and geometry
Knowledge of physics-related programming (such as collision detection, rigid body dynamics, or real-time simulation).
Excel in a collaborative team environment, with a mix of remote and local employees.
