The EA SPORTS Publishing team blends Commercial, Marketing, Communications, and Creative disciples into a unified powerhouse. The combined strength enables us to accelerate our long-term EA SPORTS ambition to be a leading Sports Entertainment Brand by Championing a New Culture of Play and redefining the future of sports fandom and participation. Across many experiences, platforms, and geographies, we drive ambitious 5-year growth strategies, oversee consumer growth, and deliver go-to-market plans that foster product and experience engagements amongst our beloved fan communities. We are seeking a Product Manager which will report into the Lead of ESports Strategy.
As a vital part of the Esports team, our goal is to engage the world in play through world-class esports ecosystems that pull our most dedicated players into deeper experiences with our games. As the Manager I, Esports Product Strategy, you will play an integral part of the team by being accountable to the following.
Responsibilities:
You will support the creation of program strategies for EA SPORTS FC and EA SPORTS MADDEN that align with our brand goals and enhance engagement with our games.
You will design the program for the EA SPORTS MADDEN Championship Series in collaboration with your line manager, American Football Brand, Esports Brand, Esports Operations and League Operations.
You will work with the Esports Operations and Esports Brand teams to present tournament strategies and opportunities to the NFL and other sports partners.
You will collaborate with the EA SPORTS FC development and content teams to create development strategy for in-game features and FC Pro content.
You will monitor performance metrics and work with Esports Analytics to communicate relevant recommendations back to the business.
Qualifications:
Experience creating and launching esports or sports programs aligned to a wider strategy to promote engagement and interest
Experience leading or supported high-profile internal or external strategy-focused presentations or pitches
An understanding of the sports landscape as it relates to sports rights-holders and their esports programs
In-depth knowledge of EA SPORTS FC, EA SPORTS MADDEN and the broader esports landscape
Knowledge of performance analysis and data-driven decision-making
Passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming community
