Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Designer II to join our team. In this key role, you will lead and grow the technical artist expertise within our quality assurance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs. Your expertise in art pipeline and workflows, DCC development & tools, and leadership will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance art pipelines and workflows, contributing to the development of tools that empower creators and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality risks, ensuring alignment with project goals and user-focused mindset.
- Leverage team technical expertise. Act as a mentor and consultant to team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Work with Technical Art, Engineering and other artists to DCC development.
- Collaborate with Technical Artists to create and improve tools and workflows.
- Actively participate in milestone planning and reviews.
- Work within deadlines and display strong time management skills.
- Provide mentorship for junior team members.
- You will execute early risk assessment, management and resolution.
Experience/Knowledge:
- Digital Portfolio of professional work and project samples.
- Proficiency with Blender
- Fundamental understanding of modeling, texturing, rigging, shaders & animation workflow.
- Experience with art pipeline.
- Experience with Digital Content Creation (DCC) development (AI tools/workflow integration is a nice to have)
- Experience workflows migration (i.e. translate one workflow such as in Maya to another DCC like Blender)
- Experience playing with The Sims 4 Game.
- Familiarity with modding & modding communities (nice to have).
