A Hybrid role as part of the Publishing Intelligence team you will lead quantitative analysis of internal and external data sets and play an important in the delivery of insights to our partners. You will help identify opportunities that exist in our important markets, provide a better understanding on what drives player and market behaviors, analyze data, and build trend detection tools/dashboards to help EA reach our future ambitions. You will report to the Head of Asia & Emerging Mobile Markets Publishing Intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Use first and third-party data sets to identify important trends in Asia and Emerging markets
  • Manipulate large datasets and use them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform decisions
  • Extract and transform raw data into clear reports and data visualization; Conduct quantitative analysis and ad hoc reports to support go to market decisions
  • Compile and distribute reports, project status, and developments
  • Build trend tools for game performance metrics that impact algorithmic discovery and identify market changes

Requirements

  • Tertiary Education in the field of Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 4+ years experience in an analyst or data science role with experience delivering insights using large and complex data
  • Proficiency of the variety of data modeling techniques which are commonly used and and understanding of their trade-offs
  • Aptitudes in data manipulation to create and interpret complex SQL queries (Oracle, Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake)
  • You will have experience with programming languages like R/Python and a sense of best practices including the use of code repositories. 
  • Experience with a data visualization application such as Tableau, R Shiny, Looker
