EA SPORTS FC Mobile Shanghai is a global team devoted to developing and operating a high-quality mobile football game experience. Job location: You will work in Shanghai.


Responsibilities:

  • You will maintain existing server-side code to ensure its robustness and resolve server-related technical issues.

  • You will work on tasks related to server architecture/feature implementation.

  • You will optimize performance to minimize latency and packet loss, enhancing player experience.

  • You will resolve issues such as latency, synchronization errors, and connectivity problems.

  • You will collaborate with development teams for seamless network integration with the game.

Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in C++ and development on Linux.

  • Experience of network game development over 3 years.

  • Familiarity with common network protocols(e.g., TCP, UDP, IP and HTTP) and synchronization mechanisms of network games.

  • Solid foundation of computer science fundamentals(e.g., data structures, algorithms, network, and operating system).

  • Knowledge of containers and serverless technologies(e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL or Postgres), in-memory data cache (e.g. Redis).
