EA SPORTS FC Mobile Shanghai is a global team devoted to developing and operating a high-quality mobile football game experience. You will report to the Technical Director

Job location: You will work in Shanghai.

Responsibilities

  • You will use our existing game engine for game development, building upon the foundation of our current engine to enhance its functionality and performance.

  • You will implement and fine-tune real-time shaders, dynamic lighting, and post-processing effects to enhance visual fidelity while maintaining target frame rates.

  • You will develop new tools and improve existing ones based on our existing toolchain.

  • You will identify performance bottlenecks within games and improve them

  • You will communicate with game designers and artists, ensuring that program functionality aligns with design requirements.

  • You will help create technical specifications and software architecture documents.

  • You will communicate project progress and risks to superiors promptly.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in real-time graphics or rendering development for games.

  • Expert in C++ , with skills in memory management, multithreading, and modern rendering pipelines.

  • Experience with 3D mathematics and algorithm, GPU architectures, and graphics APIs (Metal, Vulkan, or DirectX).

  • Track record profiling and optimizing rendering performance on iOS and Android platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major engine (Unreal Engine, Unity)

  • A collaborative mindset for working with art, design, and QA teams.
