Job location: You will work in Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop core game animation and AI function modules and game mode.
  • Develop and refine gameplay plugins and tools to improve pipeline efficiency.
  • Collaborate with GD to explore and enhance gameplay experience and new game mode
  • Improve real-time gaming latency and UX.
  • Analyze gameplay performance in low-level metrics with tools/automation and implement practical improvements to enhance player experience.
  • Live support for gameplay issues by analyzing gameplay live logs/metrics and user feedback.
  • Document the technical design, solution, and spec to share with Team members.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers.
  • Communicate efficiently with non-technical stakeholders about technical solution
  • Report to leadership about progression and manage risk of given tasks


Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of experience in C++ and gameplay development.
  • Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and operating systems is preferred.
  • Experience in animation development and knowledge of 3D skeletal animation is preferred.
  • Understanding of frame synchronization and state synchronization in game implementations.
  • Proactive and self-driven toward problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration with others.
