Role Overview 

The Advanced Data Analyst will support FC Mobile by turning game and player data into decisions that improve engagement, retention, live ops performance, and monetization. You will partner with Product, Game Designer, Live Ops, Marketing, and Engineering to define measurement, build analytical frameworks, and deliver insights that shape the roadmap.

You will reports to the Sr. Manager, FC Mobile Data Team.

Responsibilities

  • Define KPIs and instrumentation/telemetry specs (events, parameters, schemas) to track in-game behavior and partner requests.

  • Perform deep dives on player segments, funnels, progression, churn, and spend; translate findings into prioritized actions.

  • Design and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests; measure impact of events, content updates, and campaigns.

  • Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and self-serve queries for daily performance facilitating decision-making.

  • Apply AI/ML analytics (e.g., segmentation, propensity, LTV/churn models, anomaly detection, forecasting) to improve targeting and outcomes.

  • Communicate insights through clear storytelling and recommendations to global partners.

Qualifications (Required)

  • 8+ years in analytics/data roles; advanced SQL plus Python or R.

  • Strong foundation in statistics/experimentation and applied modeling; experience with machine learning is required.

  • Experience with large-scale data environments (e.g., Hadoop/Spark, Redshift/BigQuery/Snowflake).

  • BI/dashboard experience (e.g., Tableau/Looker/Power BI).

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication across regions/time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mobile F2P games, live service operations, and monetization/economy analysis.

  • Familiarity with telemetry design best practices and event taxonomy.

  • Experience working in Agile product teams.

  • Football fandom and/or knowledge of the FC ecosystem is a plus.
