Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Data Strategist to facilitate performance for FC Mobile through advanced analytics and strategic insight.

You will go beyond reporting and dashboarding. You will be a strategic partner to Product, Design, Live Operations, and Marketing. You will shape priorities, influence feature decisions, and ensure data translates into measurable impact on engagement, retention, and monetization.

You will connect player behavior, game systems, and outcomes into a clear performance narrative that guides the evolution of the product.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, FC Mobile Data Team.

Responsibilities

Strategic Decision Support & Growth

  • Define Measurement Frameworks across engagement, retention, and monetization.

  • Lead deep-dive analyses to uncover growth opportunities and risks.

  • Translate complex data into clear recommendations for leadership.

  • Provide forward-looking insights to support feature, seasonal, and economy planning.

Lifecycle & Monetization Optimization

  • Develop player segmentation strategies (behavioral, lifecycle).

  • Identify monetization expansion opportunities across cohorts.

  • Evaluate live events, content updates, and commercial performance.

  • Apply predictive analytics (LTV, churn, payer propensity) to inform targeting and investment focus.

Experimentation & Measurement Excellence

  • Design A/B and multivariate tests for features, economy adjustments, and campaigns.

  • Establish scalable measurement frameworks for new launches and major updates.

  • Measure the impact of product changes and translate findings into clear action plans.

  • Promote statistical and experimentation best practices across teams.

Data Infrastructure & Enablement

  • Hands-on telemetry strategy and event taxonomy.

  • Build dashboards and scalable reporting tools.

  • Use automation and AI to improve analytical efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in advanced or game analytics, or growth-focused data roles.

  • Experience influencing decisions through data.

  • Advanced SQL; proficiency in Python or R.

  • Experience with large-scale data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift).

  • Experience in a live-service environment.
