EA Create is a collective of content production teams partnering with EA Studios game teams to bring outstanding visuals, audio and technology to life. Role

As a part of the Create APAC team, you will be responsible for creating 2D/UI designs for seasonal content, supporting the Live updates to Battlefield. This position requires extensive experience, in addition to creating designs for new themes, and you will utilize your skills and creativity to address any challenges that may arise throughout the R&D process. You will work as part of a team of talented artists under the guidance of the Art Director and in collaboration with Game Designer, Development Director, and 3D Art Leads.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop 2D/UI art for seasonal updates, including quick iterations or different design options of 2D/UI, guided by the established world view, theme brief, or specific requirements.
  • Work with producers, art directors and development directors to ensure work is delivered on time.
  • Follow guidance and feedback from different stakeholders.
  • Showcase our in-game content in the best light.

 

 


 

Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of professional game development experience.
  • Proficient in 2D/UI design, with a solid understanding of user experience, interface interaction, and graphics.
  • Highly proficient in using 2D art software such as Photoshop, illustrator.
  • A good understanding of the hardware UI/UX R&D processes and pipelines
  • A good understanding of graphic design principles, shape language, composition, layout, color, light and shadow, vibe, mood.
  • Have some knowledge of commercial engines, such as Unreal Engine (UE). Familiar with 3D software, such as Blender.
  • Portfolio demonstrating high quality 2D art
