Reports to: Director of Engineering

Join us at Electronic Arts, where you will help inspire the world to play by transforming data into meaningful insights that empower decision-making across our game development teams. As an Advanced BI Engineer, you will design scalable business intelligence solutions on our Azure platform. You will partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive, high-quality dashboards, visualizations, and data models that guide meaningful outcomes.

You will be a senior individual contributor, shaping reporting standards, improving data accessibility, and mentoring others in BI best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or Looker.

  • Translate business reporting requirements into clear, accurate, and visually compelling dashboards and tabular reports.

  • Build and optimize semantic data models and datasets to support scalable reporting.

  • Write efficient, reusable SQL/KQL queries and develop standardized data assets for consistent report development.

  • Establish and promote best practices for data visualization, report design, and usability.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting solutions.

  • Contribute to BI governance, documentation, and standards reporting solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-related roles.

  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or Looker.

  • Advanced SQL or KQL skills, including query optimization and data transformation.

  • Experience translating business requirements into data visualizations and reporting solutions.

  • Experience with data modeling concepts.

  • Experience building reusable datasets, queries, and reporting components.

  • Committed to data accuracy and usability.


This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week working from our office in Madrid.
