We are excited to be looking for an advanced analyst to join our Battlefield Analytics team to lead critical insights about our players, their motivations, to inform critical decisions about gameplay and user generated experiences (UGX) in Battlefield.

You will use your expertise in analytics to power in-game decisions and lead insights to improve metrics related to player acquisition, engagement, retention and gameplay experience. You will report directly to the Director of Battlefield Analytics and be a part of a future focused analytics organization.

Responsibilities:

  • You will use your expertise in analytics to analyze high volumes of data to gain insight into Battlefield player behavior to propose recommendations for targeted modes and experience with UGC tools.

  • Perform advanced statistical analyses on gameplay and engagement data to identify trends, patterns, and provide actionable insights

  • Develop dashboards and self-serve tools to communicate findings and performance metrics to our partners and encourage the use of data in product decisions

  • Support teammates in Product and Design and apply soft skills to communicate complex information into top quality insights that drive decision making

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in Analytics/Data Science or a combination of Master's and Ph.D in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field

  • 6+ years of professional experience manipulating data sets, analyzing consumer behaviors, building statistical models with a demonstrated experience applying analytical or data science methodologies to real-world problems

  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language: R, Python, or Scala

  • Experience with any of the following is a big plus: Google Cloud Platform, Looker

Ceci ne s’applique pas au Québec. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $107,600 - $147,100 CAD

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
