Job Summary:

Join us at Electronic Arts and help inspire the world to play by ensuring fair competition for millions of players. As part of our SPEAR Anti-Cheat Engineering team, you will lead the development of Windows on ARM support for EA Javelin Anticheat, working with a collaborative group dedicated to game security and integrity. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Anti-Cheat Engineering and work from our Austin office or remotely across North America.

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop a native ARM driver for EA Javelin Anticheat, porting existing features to ARM architecture.
  • You will create support for loading multiple versions of EA Javelin Anticheat based on user hardware.
  • You will implement build and test pipelines to automate validation of EA Javelin Anticheat on ARM devices.
  • You will design solutions for new security threats on ARM and chart future support for additional OS and hardware.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with C++ or other low-level programming languages.
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows internals and processor intrinsics.
  • 2+ years of experience with Clang and LLVM toolchains.
  • Experience shipping Windows drivers on both x86_64 and ARM64 platforms.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$120,600 - $184,000 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
