We are looking for an accomplished Leader to join our Studio Team as ‘Associate /Art Director’. 

 

Role Overview: 

We are looking for a highly creative, hands-on Asc /Art Director with strong experience in Shooting titles to lead the visual direction of our new Project. In this role, you’ll shape the game’s artistic vision from the ground up, contribute directly to early concept development, and deliver visually compelling, gameplay-enhancing content.

This position integrates creative direction with production oversight and cross-functional collaboration. The Art Director will be responsible for defining and continuously evolving the visual vision of the game through a data-informed approach, particularly across gameplay elements. This role requires close partnership with producers, project managers, and cross-disciplinary leads to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience that aligns with player expectations.

We’re looking for a versatile and experienced Associate /Art Director with a strong foundation in visual storytelling and game art. You should be confident taking creative ideas from concept to completion, with a sharp eye for color, composition, and visual cohesion. A mix of talent, collaboration, and passion for great games is key to crafting memorable experiences—and if that sounds like you, we’d love to connect!

 

  • 5+ years of experience as an Asc/Art Director, Creative Director, or similar role in game development.
  • Strong portfolio with various art style demonstrating concepting, art direction, and shipped work—particularly in mobile or shooter titles.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools (Photoshop, 3ds Max, Maya, Unity, Substance Suite).
  • Experience in both 2D and 3D art direction, with a deep understanding of color theory, composition, and proportion.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
  • Experience mentoring artists and fostering professional growth within a team.
  • Broad visual development knowledge across characters, environments, UI/UX, and VFX is plus.
  • Comfortable working with agile, iterative development pipelines and across global teams.
  • Proven ability to take a visual concept from idea to in-game implementation.
  • A passion for the craft of game art and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative spirit, humility, and a strong sense of teamwork.
  • The ability to manage and balance quality with efficiency.
  • A track record of delivering high-impact, high-quality work that ships.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and champion the art direction for the title, defining the visual style and tone in collaboration with fellow creative leads.
  • Concept and iterate on characters, weapons, environments, UI, and mood—through sketches, mood boards, paint-overs, and mock-ups.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback by leveraging visual communication wherever possible.
  • Develop and maintain style guides, reference materials, and documentation to ensure visual consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and producers to balance visual fidelity with technical performance.
  • Review and evaluate in-game content to ensure a cohesive and immersive visual experience.
  • Present and articulate creative goals, milestones, and direction to stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Contribute to project planning, including timelines, staffing, and resource allocation.
