Assistant Video Editor
Hybrid - Not Remote
18-month contract

What an Assistant Video Editor does at EA:
As an Assistant Video Editor, you will report to a Senior Video Editor. You will partner with a creative team of artists to ensure our marketing content is delivered at the highest quality and competes on a world-class level. You will support the Editorial team with direction from the Lead Editor or Creative Director.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Video Files for Localization
- Edit video content for several platforms, such as social media, websites, and television
- Incorporate feedback from Producers and Creatives and make necessary revisions to ensure the final product meets their expectations.
- Ensure the video content aligns with brand guidelines and visual standards
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience editing a variety of successful projects.
- Understanding of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
- Solid knowledge of computers and video post technology, pipelines, and workflows.'
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Motion graphics experience.
- Sports experience is a benefit

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
