The Advanced Technology Group is part of the EA SPORTS Tech organization, focused on developing cutting edge game features and engine enhancements in close collaboration with game and engine dev teams. You will be part of a cross-disciplinary team tackling a variety of technical challenges beginning from proof of concept to implementation for titles across EA. An essential priority for this group is to partner with the Frostbite team, our Game teams, and our central art team to create meaningful user facing experiences and innovative features.


You will report to the Lead Producer of ATG.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for production of 1–2 projects or feature areas, ensuring delivery against defined goals, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Manage priorities, scope, and trade-offs across features, balancing team capacity, technical constraints, and product needs.
  • Support the creation of feature briefs, designs, and establishing key deliverables, you will write user stories for products to be integrated across EA Sports titles.
  • Partner with Production, UX Design, Tech Leads, Tech Art, Engineering, Project Management, and QV teams.
  • Support features from early concept and prototyping through production, helping define solutions in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Track progress and risks; proactively update and escalate when needed to senior production leadership.
  • Contribute to quality oversight by reviewing builds, validating outcomes, and ensuring features meet product and technical standards.
  • Facilitate team communication, ensuring stakeholders are informed on priorities, status, and changes.
  • Execute against delegated responsibilities with increasing autonomy while leveraging senior producers for guidance and escalation.


Your Qualifications:

  • Experience in Game Production/Design with 2+ years of relevant experience delivering features from beginning to end.
  • Experience in converting a product vision into actionable deliverables, including feature design, feature briefs, and user stories.
  • A passion for pioneering and innovation, encouraging others to consider different perspectives, and finding innovative solutions.
  • Experience managing feature delivery, prioritizing work, and operating within a cross-functional development environment.
  • Experience in Game Development is required.
  • Experience in Research and Development, and UGC/UGX are a bonus but not a requirement.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$75,900 - $105,600 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
