Design Home is looking for an Associate Development Manager to join our live operations team. We believe in creating an unmatched design experience, allowing passionate communities to create beautiful spaces.


Role

Reporting to the Development Director, you will support the live operations team to set up and coordinate content production for the game, ensuring we deliver high quality experiences to our players. You will be working in a highly collaborative and supportive environment.

You will be fully remote within Canada, with the option of working in-office. The team is distributed across multiple time zones so some work hours flexibility may be required.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, track and implement live ops content from one or more pipelines from development to live service

  • Collaborate with development partners, such as Product, Art, Tools, and QA

  • Set up content using our in-house Content Management System (CMS)

  • Source stock photos to match playable rooms in design style, colour, and aesthetic

  • Write copy for in-game announcements and create short narrative copy for content

  • Participate in team playtests and brainstorms for upcoming content


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a project management or coordination role

  • Knowledge of software development production methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)

  • Experience with project management software e.g. JIRA

  • Have a player-first mentality while balancing the operational needs of the team


Bonuses

  • An interest in / background in interior design or art

  • Experience working on a game or on a product with live operations

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $69,200 - $96,500 CAD

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
