Location: Stockholm, Sweden or Cologne, Germany

Work model: hybrid - 3 days a week on-site in the office


This Community Manager will deliver dedicated support for German communities engaging with Battlefield. You will be responsible for: adapting and localising a multi-channel community strategy based on regional needs; publish on social channels; lead the execution of localised community programs tailored to regional players; engage with passionate players; provide regional feedback analysis to developers; and contribute to public communications that players are looking for. 


Key Accountabilities

  • You will assist in the development of community strategies that cater to player interests.

  • You will implement community programs built on regional player interests. 

  • You will ensure seamless daily execution of tasks, aligning with our international teams, while delivering audience-relevant feedback to studio, brand, and communications teams.

  • You will engage with the product to become a subject matter expert, providing valuable context to internal team members and gaining an understanding of player needs in the region. 

  • You will participate in adapting global community strategies that prioritize a player-first mindset and strengthen regional Battlefield communities.

  • You will implement community strategies under the guidance of the Senior Leaders, including the creation of engaging content that strengthens connections between players and the games.

  • You will be part of the team to enhance community engagement, ensure consistent messaging, and deliver seamless execution of the tactics/campaign beats.

  • You will produce community insight reports and conduct sentiment analysis using player feedback and data to inform important partners on the game’s health in your region.


Requirements 

  • Work with the Senior Leaders to develop regional community strategies

  • Excel in adapting existing technologies like Discord and X to meet player and developer needs, and embrace learning new tools that inspire creativity

  • Adapt plans and communications to cater to regional needs across multiple channels

  • Knowledge of Battlefield activity on community platforms such as Discord, Reddit, X, or Instagram

  • Guide several projects to completion; overcome challenges to establish clear goals that met both player and developer requirements

  • Foster relationships with territory leads and global studio teams to ensure regional executions align with worldwide efforts

  • Grow our community voice, developing a shared culture and identity and maintaining a tight dialogue between the studio, EA, and players that keeps all parties informed

  • Cultivate relationships with diverse groups of players and sub-communities

  • Manage localized patch notes and content publishing

  • Maintain a positive reputation both at work and within the community while engaging and representing the team across multiple platforms, including online, video, and in-person at events, with potential travel for these engagements

 

Experience and Skills

  • Intermediate experience in Community Management or related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated expertise and creativity in developing data-driven insights to evaluate and report on the success of initiatives and efforts

  • Experience using Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Premier, and/or working After Effects knowledge. 

  • Experience using 3rd party tool sets like Sprout and Affogata to publish/engage/monitor/report.

  • Passion for gaming and learning player motivations and needs

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German, with the ability to effectively engage global audiences and collaborate with varied levels of our teams

  • Experienced in managing interactions and tasks in a global environment with remote teams

  • Familiarity with the Battlefield franchise
