The EA SPORTS marketing team is seeking an Associate Manager, Social & Content to execute creator and social media initiatives for hockey and UFC game titles. This role is designed for a relationship-driven, data-focused, and impact-motivated collaborator with a track record of effective content strategy and talent partnership development.

The Role

As the Associate Manager, Social & Content for the EA SPORTS Portfolio Communications team, aides in the execution of influencer and social media marketing efforts across EA SPORTS NHL, UFC, and other EA SPORTS titles. You will work with the cross-functional EA SPORTS marketing team to drive campaign storytelling on owned, creator, and partner social channels. 

Using a data-centric approach, you will develop trust through transparent and purposeful communication on social channels, as well as build relationships with core, lifestyle and sports Creators relevant to sports and gaming to expand current audiences. You should be well-versed in content that resonates with sports gaming communities and have experience producing social media content. You will also gather community feedback and social channel learnings to inform marketing strategies and development team product decisions.  

As part of this role, you will partner with team members across Creative, Brand and Production on social strategy, briefs, execution and reporting. You will also partner with agencies on large creator programs and activations, managing budgets and monitoring the performance of the creator activations.

What You’ll Do

  1. Social Media Campaign Management:

  • Manage the social media channel execution for EA SPORTS, NHL and UFC.

  • Coordinate with licensed partners, teams and leagues on Creator and owned social programs during the marketing campaign.

  • Track content development team requests and brief partners on social content needs.

  1.  Content Strategy and Production:

  • Develop creative content strategies that resonate with the gaming and sports community for owned social media channels.

  • Capture, film, edit, and produce social media content for ad hoc campaign moments.

  1. Influencer Relationship Cultivation:

  • Develop long-term relationships with mid-to-large-scale creators relevant to hockey, and mixed martial arts. Partner with the Community Manager in working with core creators.

  • Plan and manage execution of influencer marketing campaigns, leveraging said relationships to negotiate valuable partnerships for hockey and UFC titles.

  1.  Cross-discipline collaboration

  • Optimize rollouts in collaboration with community, and partnerships disciplines. Contribute to rollouts in partnership with these stakeholders.

  1. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Prepare detailed reports on campaign outcomes and influencer performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience working with talent and managing social media campaigns.

  • Experience leading influencer marketing campaigns or social media campaigns for a large company or sports organization.

  • Strong familiarity with content production tools like Photoshop, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro.

  • Strong familiarity with online monitoring tools like Airtable, Tubular, Sprout, and Traackr to track, manage, and report campaign success.

  • Experience with social media channels relevant to Creators and owned social channels, such as X, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram and more. 



COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
