The Advanced Technology Group is part of the EA SPORTS Tech organization, focused on developing cutting edge game features and engine enhancements in close collaboration with game and engine dev teams. You will be part of a cross-functional team tackling a variety of technical challenges beginning from proof of concept to implementation for titles across EA. An essential priority for this group is to partner with the Frostbite team, our Game teams, and our central art team to create meaningful user facing experiences and innovative features.


This role will report to the Director of ATG. 


Your Responsibilities:

  • Join us in developing innovative technology and features to empower the future of EA Sports experiences.
  • Work with ATG Producer and UX Designers to understand and drive product vision and priorities across the team, provide insight, and influence the product direction.
  • Collaborate on feature briefs and designs, establish key deliverabes, and write user stories for products to be integrated across EA Sports titles.
  • Manage relationships, priorities, and align deliverables with partner teams, and drive those deliverables from conception to delivery.
  • Partner with Production, UX Design, Tech Leads, Tech Art, Engineering, Project Management, and QV teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables are met.
  • Perform regular build reviews and ensure deliverables are aligned with product vision and quality, and redirect the team or escalate when necessary.
  • Assist other Producer in explaining and selling product vision and features to our team members and partners.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience in Game Production/Design with 4+ years of relevant experience delivering features from beginning to end.
  • Experience in converting a product vision into actionable deliverables, including feature design, feature briefs, and user stories.
  • A passion for pioneering and innovation, encouraging others to consider different perspectives, and finding innovative solutions.
  • Must be able to drive quality, design product requirements, perform reviews, and ensure product goals are delivered.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and a broad understanding of their roles.
  • Experience in Game Development is required, and experience in Game Design and UX Design are strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Research and Development, and UGC/UGX are a bonus but not a requirement.


This role is based in Vancouver, Canada.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $89,300 - $123,000 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
