Associate Producer - EA SPORTS™ FC

As a product owner you will partner with game design to inspire the creative vision and guide development across teams, ensuring a smooth delivery of new Ultimate Team experiences. At the centre of development, your mission is to set priorities based on analytic insights, player sentiment and target metrics to steer the direction of your experience, pushing creative boundaries and product quality. You will also be part of a team that maintains a Hybrid work schedule.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure technical feasibility and understanding of creative goals.
  • Craft a detailed direction for features you are responsible for and own messaging to team members and partners.
  • Meet quality standards, aligning to the targets that have been defined.
  • Use player information to influence the design and tuning for features they are working and contributing to.
  • Use an understanding of the competitor landscape, market opportunities and player expectations to shape the product vision.
  • Reporting to the Lead Product Owner.

 

Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in game production, knowledge of gaming genre and development fundamentals, business models or related roles.
  • Understand competitive analysis' on gaps, innovations or trends in the gaming or related industries.
  • Understand the types of functionality that makes games in the genre a success (i.e., mechanics, business model, visuals, gameplay and audio).
  • Understand basic quality expectations concerning the video game and entertainment industry including review scoring and player sentiment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of business models and monetization and how it applies to their product and genre.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$91,100 - $126,900 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
