Summary

EAX QV is looking for an Associate Quality Designer (AQD) to work on the EA app to implement quality strategies and EA app integrations in collaboration with our development partners. You will report to the Development Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Validate features and end-to-end flows with partners to ensure the quality of the product and player experience
  • Contribute to test strategies and test plans to ensure feature delivery
  • Help to guide Bug Prevention and Containment plans for EAX QV
  • Promote the player experience throughout your work
  • Use telemetry and metrics to monitor the health of the product and identify potential issues
  • Promote improvements and knowledge sharing of current processes and workflows across the QV team
  • Identify opportunities for automation and reducing manual effort, partnering with the development team to deliver the highest value
  • Build working relationships with members of the development, production and design teams.
  • Communicate progress and status updates with appropriate managers, Quality Designers, and other team members

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in Quality Verification or a similar role
  • Located in the greater Vancouver area, experience working remotely from home and can visit the office as required
  • Experience testing across multiple gaming PC applications
  • Experience working with teams and individuals in other locations
  • Experience with automation test strategies

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $63,400 - $86,500 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
