About our role: EA Sports FC Audio is looking for an enthusiastic and accomplished Audio Artist with experience in VO post-production, who can make an immediate contribution to our team. Working with us, you will be responsible for editing recorded VO for use as final in game content. You will report to the projects Audio Director and VO lead. If you have an overwhelming desire to create a world class audio experience, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Editing of VO content

  • Submission of final audio files on or before required deadlines

  • Database/file management and organization

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years game/audio experience

  • Familiar with ADR and conforming software

  • Proficient with Pro Tools

  • Experience working with audio restoration software (iZotope RX)

  • Understanding of audio metering and LUFs standards

  • Can discern and describe issues heard in VO assets

  • Knowledge of audio editing techniques used to deliver high-quality content

  • Comfortable working with large data sets (Thousands of audio files)

  • Good critical thinker with a technical background

  • Experience working as part of a team, while taking ownership of work assigned.

  • Developed artistic and creative sensibilities

  • Experience in game development practices and scheduling

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $63,400 - $86,500 CAD

 In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
