MBA Brand Management Intern, Strategic Growth (EAX, EA Play)

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven, and customer-centric MBA intern to join the Strategic Growth Brand Management team and help shape how millions of players engage with EA’s gaming subscription service, EA Play. In this role, you’ll analyze player data, map user journeys, and collaborate across marketing, analytics, CRM, and product teams to develop actionable engagement strategies that inform the future of one of EA’s most dynamic business models.

EA Play engages players across nearly every platform, EA franchise, and player experience, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to gain a holistic view of how EA delivers value to players worldwide. You will work alongside experienced leaders to build a deep understanding of the gaming industry and contribute directly to the long-term vision of one of the most innovative entertainment companies in the world.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build a deep understanding of member behavioral data, audience segmentation, and consumer insights to identify what drives engagement and retention for EA Play.

  • Map player journeys to visualize touchpoints and uncover opportunities to optimize user experience and perceived value.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across CRM, digital merchandising, consumer insights, and marketing to deliver aligned outcomes.

  • Become a platform expert, developing and presenting a member engagement optimization roadmap for a key platform or distribution channel.

  • Define measurable outcomes and success metrics for engagement initiatives, connecting strategies to retention and lifetime value.

Qualifications

  • Current MBA student with a concentration in Marketing, Strategy, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; experience interpreting data to inform business recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders through clear insights.

  • Passion for interactive entertainment, player experiences, and the evolving subscription landscape.

Bonus:

  • Background in brand management, product management, or CRM strategy preferred.

  • Strong understanding of gaming platform experiences (PC, Playstation, XBOX).

  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and user lifecycle optimization.

You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2026 based out of Austin, Los Angeles, Seattle, or Redwood City as this will be a hybrid role working 3 days onsite per week.

We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2026, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2026. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
