The Role:

We are seeking a Brand Manager for EA SPORTS who will play a key role in shaping how EA SPORTS is represented through culturally resonant campaigns, standout creative, and consistent presence across social, digital, experiential, and partner channels. This role will be instrumental in building integrated marketing programs that elevate brand perception and grow a passionate global community. This person will work cross-functionally to launch campaigns, activate experiences, and elevate our brand across every consumer touchpoint.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of global sports culture, athlete marketing, and content creation—as well as the ability to navigate cross-functional relationships and move with agility in the fast-paced worlds of professional and collegiate sports.

What You’ll Do:

Brand Strategy & Campaign Development

  • Support the development and execution of global brand marketing campaigns for EA SPORTS

  • Contribute to annual brand strategy, messaging frameworks, and positioning efforts

  • Translate brand strategy into actionable campaign plans with clear objectives, audiences, and messaging

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align brand priorities with franchise, digital, and comms strategies

  • Help define and articulate EA SPORTS' brand narrative, ensuring consistency across channels

  • Conduct competitive analysis and consumer research to inform brand direction and creative development

  • Activate around cultural moments, trends, and fan behaviors that align with the brand’s positioning

  • Ensure all brand work reflects a deep understanding of EA SPORTS' audience, values, and long-term vision

Creative Project Management

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of brand creative projects—from brief development through production and delivery

  • Collaborate with internal creative teams and agency partners to ensure brand standards and timelines are met

  • Manage feedback loops across cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and quality

Cross-Functional Marketing Execution

  • Partner with franchise marketing, social, communications, and regional teams to develop integrated marketing programs

  • Support go-to-market planning for brand tentpoles, new initiatives, and cross-franchise storytelling opportunities

  • Manage brand visual identity and toolkits to ensure consistent application across consumer and internal touchpoints

  • Ensure any event activations ladder up to broader brand strategy and deliver measurable impact

Measurement & Brand Health

  • Collaborate with insights and analytics partners to monitor brand health metrics, campaign performance, and audience sentiment

  • Support marketing measurement efforts, identifying KPIs and optimization opportunities for future initiatives

  • Translate data and learnings into actionable insights to inform strategy and creative

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 4–6 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or communications—ideally in sports, entertainment, or gaming

  • Demonstrated experience managing creative projects and campaigns from start to finish

  • Strong understanding of brand storytelling, visual identity, and fan engagement strategies

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • Deep familiarity with the sports landscape and how younger audiences engage with culture and content

  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with brand tracking tools, audience segmentation, or campaign performance reporting

  • Previous involvement in live event activations or experiential marketing

  • Passion for gaming, sports, and the evolving intersection of the two

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $103,200 - $145,600 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
