DRE is EA's Continuous Integration specialist team. We make life simpler for game creators and improve the quality of games by providing an easy to use, reliable, scalable and agile CI service that provides automated builds of EA's games.

DRE is the automation catalyst for EA game production, bringing together technical components and dependencies from partner teams to generate playable builds. We partner with Quality Verification, IT, Security, Cloud providers, Engine providers and other teams to simplify Continuous Integration for game creators.
This is a hybrid remote/in-office, partly from Bucharest office and you will report to Technical Director in Romania.

Responsibilities:
  • You work as a technical liaison with development teams to address build issues and improvements
  • You develop and maintain automation pipelines in our CI system (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Gitlab pipelines)
  • You work with our internal customers on designing, prototyping and implementing automated workflows
  • You monitor automation systems and proactively respond to breakages
  • You monitor metrics to optimize automation systems
  • You manage virtual infrastructure, including deploying and monitoring VMs

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Experience in designing, creating, and maintaining CI automation systems (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Groovy, Python, Powershell)
  • Customer and business focus
  • Curious and motivated to grow your technical abilities
  • Communicate and discuss technical topics with both technical and business audiences
  • Experience with OO languages (e.g. Java, C++, C#)
  • Experience with cloud and IaC tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with container orchestration and management tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with monitoring and metrics gathering tools (e.g. Elastic Search, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager)
  • Experience influencing engineering and operations best practices within your team
