Within our Publishing organization, the Commercial Strategy & Growth team helps drive the long-term success of our franchises by identifying new business opportunities, developing forward-looking strategies, and guiding product and commercial execution through insight and analysis.


We are seeking a Commercial Manager – Strategy & Growth to help shape the future of our American Football portfolio, including Madden NFL, EA SPORTS College Football, and other upcoming titles. This role will report to the Director of Commercial Strategy & Growth for EA SPORTS and will focus on evaluating performance across product life cycles, uncovering growth opportunities, and helping steer strategic decision-making across teams.


Responsibilities


Strategic Planning & Market Analysis

  • Support the development of commercial strategies that guide product, marketing, and partnership decisions.

  • Analyze market, player, and platform trends to uncover risks, opportunities, and white-space potential.

  • Contribute to annual and quarterly planning by delivering clear, data-backed recommendations.


Performance Analysis & Forecasting

  • Monitor business performance across acquisition, engagement, and monetization metrics.

  • Develop and maintain forecasts and scenario models to inform strategy and investment decisions.

  • Identify variances in business results, distill insights, and propose adjustments to improve outcomes.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Studio, Finance, and other teams to align execution with strategic goals.

  • Influence product and go-to-market plans by bringing commercial and player-centric perspectives.

  • Help shape pricing, promotions, and content strategies based on business objectives.


Growth & Innovation

  • Identify new business opportunities across markets, platforms, and customer segments.

  • Collaborate on testing and scaling new commercial models, partnerships, or product extensions.

  • Support the evaluation of emerging trends and contribute to future-facing initiatives.


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Strategy, Publishing, Product Management, or Strategic Planning; gaming, media, or tech experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.

  • Effective communicator with experience presenting complex topics to cross-functional audiences.

  • Skilled in business modeling and forecasting; familiarity with tools like Excel, Tableau, or Looker (SQL is a plus).

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving priorities.

  • Passion for sports and enthusiasm for building great entertainment experiences.
