Content Operations Lead


We are hiring a Content Operations Lead to join EA's Fan Care organization.


As a Content Operations Lead, you report to the Director, Content Management. You oversee workflows, tools, processes, and the content calendar across teams. You ensure smooth execution of content initiatives by optimizing operational efficiency, maintaining consistency, and improving collaboration between strategists, designers, leads, and our partners. You have experience managing content pipelines, streamlining workflows, and implementing scalable systems that enable high-quality content production at scale. You also oversee a business analyst who develops comprehensive reports featuring data and insights on our content distribution channels. You will play a critical role in scaling and optimizing content operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage content workflows to ensure efficient production and distribution.

  • Own the overall content calendar and tracking system, ensuring alignment across teams and timely execution.

  • Optimize content management systems and collaboration tools to enhance productivity. 

  • Establish, document, and maintain best practice documentation for tasks including, content planning, approval processes, and asset management.

  • Develop comprehensive reports and provide data-driven insights on content distribution channels to support strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with strategists, designers, leads, and managers to improve workflow efficiency.

  • Identify bottlenecks in content operations and implement solutions for continuous improvement.

  • Ensure content governance, compliance, and brand consistency across all assets.

  • Develop and enforce content quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Support the integration of AI and automation tools to improve content processes and report impact.

  • Use all available tools to track and report on team efficiency and performance.

  • Partner with teams across EA and Fan Care, leading by influence, consulting, and making recommendations on optimizing production and campaigns.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in content operations, content production, or digital marketing.

  • Expertise in content management systems, workflow automation, and project management tools.

  • Proven track record of streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage cross-functional collaboration.

  • Experience working with creative, editorial, and marketing teams.

  • Experience analyzing content performance metrics and translating insights into operational improvements.

  • Familiarity with content workflows and global content distribution.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and process-driven mindset.


Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Interest or passion in the video game industry.

  • Experience working with digital asset management (DAM) systems.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies in content production.

  • Background in content marketing or editorial operations.
