The future of entertainment is interactive, and our Marketing team plays an important role in this future by building content, culture, and community around our brands. We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, Golf Clash and more. We’re a multi-functional group, with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and ultimately putting our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem. This is your opportunity to join the marketing team supporting our Star Wars and Marvel titles.


This is a collaborative team focused on executional excellence, passionate about world building and story telling. In this dream role you’ll work across multiple creative campaigns for our Star Wars and Marvel franchises, while reporting to the Creative Director.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in developing the core creative platforms and campaign direction alongside marketing partners. 

  • Concept and develop campaign concepts and executions to fuel our go-to-market campaigns.

  • Partner with production and design teams to uphold our visual look, feel and messaging across various brand and product level campaigns under the guidance of the Creative Director.

  • Work alongside team members to develop treatments, scripts, and copy and creative responses that inspire our best ideas and execution.

  • Support the development of creative presentations for internal and external stakeholders to gain alignment and buy in of our concepts and ideas.

  • Collaborate closely with our partners to craft narrative work that is faithful to established cannon, world rules, and highly complex worlds from the Star Wars and Marvel Universes.


Required Qualifications

  • Masters or MBA Graduate from an accredited Creative or Advertising program, and/or experience as a creative with a brand or creative agency.

  • Strong collaborator and communicator with experience in creative work - with a focus on narrative development and script concepting/ writing. 

  • Familiarity and passion for working. 

  • Understanding of the current landscape of consumer content and social channels.

  • Star Wars and Marvel knowledge and/or video game experience is a huge plus.



COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $82,500 - $122,900 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
