Join our Data and Insights team to support major game titles by providing insights into player behaviour and development cycles. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong technical skills. You will work with a variety of data sources, creating and managing data products. These products help us understand how our developers are using our tools and systems, identifying efficiencies, and driving improvements. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will involve yourself in all stages of development, collaborating with analysts, data engineers, architecture, and leadership to manage ETL pipelines for Business Intelligence.
You will work in Hybrid remote/in-office role, with 3 days in office weekly at one of our Locations in Canada (#LI-Hybrid).
Responsibilities:
You will work with analysts, understand requirements, and develop technical specifications for ETLs
You will implement efficient, scalable and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data.
You will promote strategies to improve our data modelling, quality and architecture
You will work with big data solutions, ETL pipelines and dashboard tools.
Qualifications:
4+ years experience in data engineering with a degree in a quantitative field.
You have 1+ year experience working with on-prem solutions like SQL Server.
You have 4+ in SQL and cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks).
You have 3+ years experience in data modelling, ETL, and warehousing.
You have 3+ years experience with Python, Airflow, and version control (GitHub/GitLab).
Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
Familiarity with Kafka or other data streaming technologies.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
