We’re developing an innovative sports application and are looking for a DevOps Engineer with experience in running applications at scale to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you’ll help build scalable, secure and performant infrastructure.

Responsibilities

As a server-side engineer, you'll develop the back-end services that power our sports application. You’ll work with a range of modern technologies, ensuring our platform is secure, scalable, and. You’ll help develop REST APIs, handle server-side logic, and manage databases.

Qualifications

  • Experience building, deploying and maintaining production infrastructure
  • Experience with building observability dashboards and log capture
  • Familiarity with server-side architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
  • Experience deploying and optimising MongoDB and Postgres databases
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes best practices
  • Experience with a CICD platform such as Gitlab CI or GitHub Actions
  • Competent with at least one scripting language
  • Experience working with source control (Git) and in collaborative environments
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and working as part of a team
  • Experience deploying updates to a live environment

Desired

  • Experience with sports and gaming or working on applications in those industries.
  • Working knowledge of .NET/C# and Spring/Java
