About Us: Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an important part of our development process, consistently delivering actionable insights that support our game teams to optimize software performance and elevate gameplay.

Who do we work with? You will work closely with the American Football franchise, College Football Team. This role is Hybrid in Orlando, 3 days in office.

About the Role: Reporting to a senior level Development Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership. You will harness your experience to promote collaboration, inspire creativity, enhance QA practices, share expertise, and advocate for superior game design and implementation.

🔑Your Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage blockers, prioritize tasks, and ensure project goals are met

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Build, mentor and support QA teams, ensuring professional development and effective team collaboration

  • Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, including developers, analysts, and producers

Process Efficiency

  • Track and report on QA metrics, such as defect density and defect leakage

  • Improve operational effectiveness of team effort by assessing current practices, incorporating new strategies, and increasing predictability

Resource Management

  • Oversee planning and execution of QA efforts from pre-production through post-launch

  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.

People/Talent Management

  • Monitor and evolve talent skill mix through training and recruitment plans

  • Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion

  • Conduct performance reviews, career development, and training

✅ Our Requirements

Experience and Knowledge / Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience

  • 5+ years of game or software development QA experience, including 3+ years in a lead/manager role.

Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of software development processes

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication

  • Experience with project management software such as Jira is desirable
