The Role
Reporting to a Development Director, the team is searching for a Development Manager (Project Manager) to join the FC Live Data team. Development Managers are the keepers of the project schedule and play an important role in successfully moving the team from one project phase to the next while ensuring a focus on quality, collaboration and communication.

This team works onsite in Vancouver 3 days/week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is a 12-month contract to begin with and has the possibility of longer term employment.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for the Development Manager role on EA SPORTS FC Live Data team is proactive, organized, and collaborative with a strong background in project management. You thrive in dynamic environments, excel at coordinating cross-functional teams, and are passionate about delivering impactful results. You possess both technical expertise and exceptional communication skills, enabling you to drive projects to successful completion while fostering best practices and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall

  • Skilled in using project management tools such as Jira and Asana for task tracking and backlog maintenance

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate updates, facilitate meetings, and promote best practices across teams

  • Effective at triaging incoming requests and allocating to appropriate teams or pillars

  • Capable of contributing to status reports and other reporting processes

  • Adept at supporting agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ability to navigate and coordinate within a fast-paced, evolving environment


Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on project management experience in relevant industries (e.g., technology, gaming, analytics, or data science)

  • Proven track record of working with diverse teams, including analysts and engineers, to deliver key insights and products

  • Experience managing projects using Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies

  • Background in partnering with stakeholders to shape project direction and priorities

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build effective relationships across teams and stakeholders

  • Adaptable and solution-oriented, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance processes and promote best practices



Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$100,000 - $139,500 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
 In Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
