Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. We excel in a place where we invite new perspectives and make ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

#WeAreEA and we exist to inspire the world to play. EA values creativity, pioneering, passion, determination, learning, and teamwork. The Corporate Strategy team at EA drives the company's long-term growth and innovation. We specialize in turning bold ideas into tangible strategies, identifying emerging opportunities, and developing the next generation of strategic leaders.

We are looking for someone to serve as an important advisor to EA's senior creative leaders. Reporting to the VP of Business Strategy & Intelligence, this is a high-visibility role.  It has deep engagement across EA's franchises, studios, and commercial functions,  and regular interaction with EA's executive leadership.

You will help shape the future of one of the world's most influential interactive entertainment portfolios. EA spans iconic and category-defining franchises including EA SPORTS FC™, Battlefield™, Apex Legends™, The Sims™, Madden NFL, and skate.™, alongside new IP in development. You will help define how these franchises grow, evolve, and remain culturally relevant in a rapidly changing entertainment landscape.

You will provide connected, proactive, and data-informed thought partnership to EA's senior creative leaders. This partnership will help unlock growth, promote innovation, and maximize the long-term value of EA's world-class IP and development capabilities. Drawing on deep experience across media, technology, and entertainment, you will help position EA for its next phase of creative and commercial success.

Responsibilities

Strategic Vision and Leadership:

  • Be a trusted advisor to the senior creative leaders at EA. These leaders include GMs/franchise leaders, studio heads, and commercial leadership. You will help shape long-term strategy and translate it into near-term priorities.

  • Provide proactive strategic perspective and connective tissue across EA's ecosystem—linking franchises, studios, commercial teams, and corporate strategy into a cohesive strategic narrative.

  • Partner with the Strategic Intelligence function, using data, market intelligence and insights to inform decision-making.

  • Deliver expertise on how shifts in player behavior, fandom, platform dynamics, monetization models, and new technologies are reshaping interactive entertainment—and how EA can lead.

  • Develop external relationships with senior strategy leaders across gaming, media, technology, and entertainment to inform EA's strategic outlook.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop structured frameworks to evaluate strategic opportunities across EA, including new IP, franchise extensions, platform strategies, partnerships, and business models.

  • Lead and deliver ad hoc market, financial, and scenario analyses to support studio & franchise leadership in navigating complex, high-stakes decisions.

  • Guide select, strategic initiatives end-to-end, including opportunity assessments, long-range planning, and support for partnerships or M&A diligence.

  • Collaborate with Development, Publishing, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure franchise strategies align with EA's corporate strategy, financial goals, and long-term growth goals.

  • Summarize insights into clear, data-backed recommendations for senior executives, the CEO, and Board of Directors.

Promote Innovative Growth

  • Help promote EA's studio & franchise teams to innovate, experiment, and grow, while using EA's world-class IP, creative talent, technology, and development infrastructure.

  • Support franchises and studios in balancing creative ambition with commercial discipline, helping translate vision into scalable, sustainable outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to extend franchises in, around, and beyond games, strengthening fan ecosystems and long-term engagement.

Develop Strategy Talent

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages curiosity, creativity, and strategic collaboration.

  • Be a mentor, coach, and sponsor to Strategy team members, helping develop the next generation of strategic leaders at EA.

  • Help the team to grow in impact and influence by providing guidance, context, and opportunities to operate at the highest levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate development, or related roles, with 3+ years in a management or team leadership capacity within media, technology, gaming, or entertainment.

  • Experience developing large-scale strategies that bring measurable growth.

  • Expertise partnering with senior executives and creative leaders, influencing decisions, and excelling in high-visibility, situations.

  • Experience balancing long-term strategic vision with immediate needs, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to complex challenges.

  • Experience with interactive entertainment, innovation, and building enduring franchises that resonate with players and fans worldwide.
