As a Director of Creative Production for Live Services Marketing, you will own the production budget and creative pipeline for multiple titles within EA’s top franchises. You will lead a team of Creative Producers to support creative leads and drive production process across internal teams, external partners, and licensors to deliver final creative assets. In close partnership with EA game studios, as well as leaders across Product Marketing, Creative, Communications and Platform Marketing, the assets you deliver will increase player acquisition, retention, and engagement. You will manage creative marketing asset pipelines with our studio teams, and creative agency partners, working collaboratively to understand the games and to produce assets that bring creative campaigns to life. You will also be responsible for pipeline and workflow process design optimization, helping improve our delivery quality and efficiency. This role will report to the Sr Director of Operations, Live Service Marketing.


Responsibilities


  • Responsible for building and maintaining asset production schedules for creative production, testing, and delivery across internal and external partners

  • Development of content production processes to improve efficiency across all touchpoints, including implementation of quality assurance policies and complex review/approval workflows.

  • Responsible for arranging vendor pitching sessions and pricing per job

  • Reconcile vendor pricing against budgets to ensure forecast scope, partnering with Operations and Finance on budget management

  • Responsible for delivery of Game Studio creative source assets to vendors

  • Manage production partners and vendors to produce work on time and within budget

  • Manage the delivery of the assets for review by Creative Lead and consolidate feedback from all key stakeholders, including Product Marketing, Licensor, and Legal

  • Build relationships with EA Studio teams and leads to ensure strong collaboration and high degrees of satisfaction from our Studio partners. 

  • Build relationships with external agency partners to establish trust and efficiency in driving the production of marketing creative assets throughout the entire workflow, from concept, to source materials, internal reviews, through to completion and delivery.

  • Maintain a high standard of creative asset quality and execution.

  • Build relationships with leaders including, Creative Strategy, Product Marketing, User Acquisition, Data Science, Franchise Brand Marketing, Communications, Regional Marketing and Platform Marketing to meet a common goal

  • Hire, train, and retain elite content producers, exemplifying best practices for production, while mentoring and growing talent. 


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of and or deep passion for gaming

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, or Media Arts related field

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or creative production

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing art production processes and approval workflows, with strong focus on video production.

  • Creative-minded project manager who can bring stories and ideas to life as a team

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams of artists, creative strategists, and marketing campaign managers.

  • Professional understanding of creative development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Frame.io, Figma, etc. 

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as AirTable, Jira, ClickUp, or Asana

  • 3+ years people-leadership experience (either direct manager or functional manager roles)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $151,800 - $208,900 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $170,500 - $259,300 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
