DIRECTOR, LEADERSHIP TRANSFORMATION & DEVELOPMENT

Reports to Senior Director of Development Strategy & Growth, Tiburon Studios

The Director of Leadership Transformation & Development role is a key leadership role for Tiburon Studios that leverages leadership development, cultural evolution, and change capability expertise to create, shape, and optimize Tiburon leadership to create a culture of “leaders of leaders” that leads to empowered creators shaping the future of American Football and beyond.  We inspire the world to play, and we want you to be a part of it.

Key Responsibilities:

 

LEADERSHIP TRANSFORMATION & DEVELOPMENT

·      Provides 1:1 executive and leadership coaching to Tiburon employees adjusting their mindset to key principles adopted by Tiburon Studios around respect (inclusive of suspending assumptions and valuing differences), trust (inclusive of cultivating openness and expanding dialogue), and influence (inclusive of honoring boundaries and creating leaders).

·      Provides workshop consulting to facilitate coaching through group interactions focusing on moving through true dialogue to discussion to decision making… before jumping to doing.

·      Reinforces change capabilities being implemented by the studio in its adoption of the “Journey to Newland” program, focusing on moving from what’s “natural” to what’s “optimal” in leading change effectively.

·      Works with Tiburon leadership to create accountability mechanisms within Tiburon Studios to shift cultural behavior adoption from awareness to consistent, optimal demonstration.

 

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

·      Works with partners and peers in the Tiburon leadership team to craft materials and programs to expand the current change capability and leadership development programs at Tiburon Studios to support the vision to optimally build the interactive epicenter of American Football in, around, and beyond our games (at speed, with connection, supporting expression, and creating disruption).

·      Consults on designing and delivers on creating derivative materials unique to EA from licensed content around Tiburon-specific programs and implementations.

·      Facilitates workshops for smaller cohorts and larger groups at studio scale to expand awareness, understanding, and adoption of key behaviors expected across Orlando, Madrid, Austin, Vancouver, and Victoria studio populations.

Additional Responsibilities:

 

·      Partners with the studio Executive Leadership Team (XLT) helping to drive overall studio cultural and leadership development to empower growth and deliver results.

·      Builds, fosters, and grows partnerships across the organization to aid team in successful delivery of products and services.

·      Seeks to understand the gaming industry and the challenges currently and in the future that may prevent the studio from succeeding.

·      Mentors and grows leaders on the team and within the studio.

·      Embodies the values of the studio to drive towards our vision and mission.

·      Exemplifies leadership and behaviors to build an inclusive and diverse culture.

·      Travels to Tiburon Studios locations as directed to support programs in key locations.

·      Expected to be in the studio a minimum of 3-days a week as a hybrid role, unless located outside of the expected studio radius (which would require in-studio work, as directed, for various programs related to the leadership coaching and development role).

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as executive coach and/or consultant in leadership and cultural development of successful organizations is required.
  • Strong public presentation and speaking skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal daily supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence others, while respectfully leading discussions in area of focus.
  • Demonstrated problem solving capability across product, organization, business, and people challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with high-level executives on strategic and people development plans.
  • Demonstrated passion or interest in video games and/or interactive entertainment.
  • Demonstrated interest in organizational and/or talent development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively (within and across functional groups and disciplines) in a variety of team environments.
  • Experience with change leadership and/or change management initiatives is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the leadership development industry and/or alternative programs and philosophies preferred.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

* Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs) *$178,200 - $228,000 USD
* Illinois (depending on location e.g. Chicago vs Illinois City) *$171,200 - $228,000 USD
* Massachusetts (depending on location e.g. Boston vs Springfield) *$178,200 - $252,700 USD
* Minnesota (depending on location e.g. Minneapolis vs Saint Paul) *$171,200 - $228,000 USD
* Jersey City, NJ *$178,200 - $252,700 USD
* New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo) *$171,200 - $252,700 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$171,200 - $228,000 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
