We're searching for a Director of Experiential Quality (EQ) to support the Battlefield franchise and player experiences developed by the DICE and Criterion studios. You will report to the Head of Experiential Quality for Battlefield QV.

Be a part of a dynamic team driving an important strategic pillar for EA and the Battlefield Franchise. You will lead a diverse team focused on ensuring the quality of the product meets our player's expectations. Our team are integrated partners in the DICE and Criterion studios, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Quality across every experience.

The Director of EQ will lead a versatile team focused on improving Battlefield player experience through playtesting and impactful qualitative feedback processes and measurements in our European studios.

You will demonstrate an analytical approach to assessing quality and be comfortable making data-informed & objective decisions to guide the path forward for your team, peers & partners. You have a deep understanding of game design and an eye for quality and player expectations. You are collaborative, build relationships and excel at working with multiple partners.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead experiential quality efforts in close partnership with Battlefield product & creative leadership and teams driving quality insights including internal playtesting, player research, data analytics and more.

  • Leverage and adapt our existing experiential quality framework to objectively assess quality of the experiences developed by DICE and Criterion studios, identify risks and collaborate directly with product and design leaders to identify mitigations.

  • You will manage our growing EQ team based in Europe, set inspiring & measurable goals, guiding the team toward meaningful impact and high quality outcomes for players.

  • Set an inclusive culture. Be communicative and an agent for constructive change within Battlefield QV & your immediate team, whether through town halls, reviews, or workshops.


Qualifications:

  • Have shipped high-quality console & PC titles as an Executive / Lead Producer or Creative Lead with 10+ years of experience in game development.

  • Influence-oriented. Excel at collaborating with other leaders and guiding the collective group to the best action, decision, or result. Have extensive experience working with product and creative leaders, player research, playtesting and quality verification teams.

  • People connector who inspires others toward shared goals and pioneers change

  • A continuous improvement mindset.

  • Can track, model, and present information in engaging ways
