Director of Product Management – EA App
Workplace Type: Hybrid | Canada
Reporting Line: Reports to the Head of Product
You will lead the product vision for the EA app, EA's flagship PC and Mac storefront and launcher. As Director of Product Management, you'll promote player engagement and business growth through scalable strategies, platform improvement, and collaborative leadership. You'll guide a team of Product Managers while partnering across studios, commercial, and publishing teams to deliver meaningful results.
Responsibilities
- Build product strategy for EA app's storefront, launcher, and platform services
- Mentor a team of Product Managers, empowering ownership and strategic focus
- Align product plans with strategic goals, goals, and market opportunities
- Collaborate with studios, engineering, analytics, finance, and design to develop products at scale
- Lead growth plans to improve acquisition, retention, conversion, and lifetime value
- Use data, insights, and competitive analysis to identify optimization and new ideas opportunities
- Prioritize long-term vision and near-term goals to deliver measurable outcomes
- Represent product strategy at the executive level and contribute to EA-wide platform planning
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years in product management, including 2–3 years managing people
- Experience leading user-facing or commerce-focused digital products in gaming, tech, or e-commerce
- Experience balancing player experience, platform health, and our goals
- Experience with using data and A/B testing frameworks to lead and evaluate product decisions
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- Knowledge of commerce mechanics, player behavior, and platform growth strategy
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
