EA SPORTS FC Franchise Activation Intern


Contract: 6-month Internship (Temporary from Feb 2026).

Location: Lyon, France

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in-office)

The future of entertainment is interactive, and our Marketing team plays an important role in this future by building content, culture, and community around our brands. We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Apex Legends, and Battlefield. We’re a multi-functional group with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the centre of the broader sports and entertainment ecosystem.


Join the EA SPORTS FC Franchise Activation team in our Lyon office. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in an international company at the intersection of the video games and sports industry.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the Marketing team in daily operations on the game FC

  • Support the launch of multiple marketing campaigns across the year (TOTY, Future Stars, FUT Birthday, …) and of course the launch of FC27

  • Work on multiple marketing adaptation of our advertising campaigns: TV, Online, Radio and Print

  • Participation in the preparation of briefs for the agencies (PR, talents, creative production), analysis and implementation of the recommendations

  • Work on PR activities: Review our localized official press communications materials on FC + Share information and assets with our agencies

  • Work on Communities activities: collaborate with the French community manager to prep and share relevant information and assets on our owned media channels

  • Participation in French clubs' & league partnerships management

  • Coordination with the departments involved in the product lifecycle (Brand Marketing, Legal, Sales, Retail and Development Studio)

  • Coordinate our EA SPORTS stocks/merchandising platform

  • Implement contests, partnerships, promotions and consumer events or press

  • Track and manage the marketing brand performances of our local brand activations across the entire lifecycle of our campaign (campaign highlights)


Eligibility:


  • You are currently enrolled in a Business School or University course +5, with a desired specialization in Marketing

  • Eligible to work in Lyon, France, without the need for visa/relocation support

  • Fluent French and business level English (the assignment includes frequent and regular exchanges with European marketing teams and development teams at the studio)



Skills:


  • Passion and knowledge of sport and football

  • Interest in entertainment, influence and video game industry

  • Knowledge of the main social media platforms

  • Use Microsoft Office

  • Photoshop skills or other popular creative software is beneficial

  • Team player
