The Challenge Ahead

Join EA's Global Partners team and help shape how players discover and engage with EA Sports FC across our partners' ecosystem.

As a Senior Merchandiser, you'll create end-to-end merchandising tactics across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam, Epic, Amazon Luna and EA App ecosystems, optimising player journeys across multiple channels and maximising commercial impact.

You will report to the Franchise Merchandising Senior Manager and will be a contributor to the broader Publishing Organisation.

This job is hybrid, with three days required in the Guildford (UK) office (Tues, Wed & a flexible work day).


What You'll Do

● Create franchise merchandising plans across global digital channels, ensuring understanding of commercial goals and relevancy for player segments.

● Negotiate and secure free merchandising placements with platform partners to promote EA content visibility across partner ecosystems.

● Build go-to-market tactics for franchise content across the entire lifecycle – from launch through live services – growing revenue and engagement.

● Identify opportunities for experimentation, such as A/B testing and pilot programmes, to enhance the player experience and commercial performance.

● Own and maintain merchandising trackers, ensuring accuracy and transparency across partner teams.

● Provide ongoing performance updates through post-mortems and milestone reports to inform future merchandising tactics.

● Partner with marketing, studio, creative, analytics, and operations teams to deliver unified, player-first merchandising activations.

● Act as merchandising subject matter expert, advising on asset development for all partner channels and player journey optimizations across our partners' ecosystem.


Who You Are

● 5+ years of experience in eCommerce or digital marketing roles within the gaming or entertainment industry.

● Understanding of digital storefronts, player journeys, and UX principles in the gaming ecosystem.

● Demonstrated experience managing merchandising plans across platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, EA App, Steam, and Epic.

● Experience with relationship-building for internal understanding and external negotiations.

● Experience leading cross-functional plans and operating with autonomy.

● Data-driven with proficiency in tracking, reporting, and campaign optimization.

● Passion for gaming, experimentation, and problem-solving.

● Minimum Bachelor's degree, or equivalent industry experience.
