EA Sports Planning Analyst

Main Purpose of the Role

The EA Sports Planning Analyst is part of the Asia EA Sports Franchise team focused on supporting operational planning and forecasting across both mobile and console (HD) game portfolios. This role will collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams across Asia to optimize performance and drive growth

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with game analysts, product managers, marketing, publishing and finance to establish collaborative mobile forecasts with aligned assumptions

  • Own the end-to-end HD packaged game forecast, including top-down allocation support and scenario modeling

  • Manage regional pre-order and sell-in/sell-through tracking for AAA HD releases

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive performance reporting for both mobile and HD portfolios

  • Support Asia Franchise team leads with insights on market share, EA title performance, and commercial effectiveness across both HD & Mobile titles

  • Propose localized pricing and promotional strategies based on regional dynamics 

  • Measure title performance post-launch, analyzing drivers such as pricing, marketing impact, competition, and market trends

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and generate custom reports to support commercial and marketing decision-making

  • Support Franchise lead with Commercial Management tasks for selected EA Sports suite of titles

  • Input into monthly consolidated reporting for Asia i.e “Last Month in Asia”


Skills and Knowledge Required

        2+ years of experience forecasting revenue, experience in mobile gaming, video games or live service forecasting an advantage

        Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, index+match, charts and graphs

        Working knowledge of SQL, data visualization software package (e.g., Tableau or R packages) & PowerPoint

Key Performance Measures

        Successful delivery of projects supported by clear, compelling presentations and thorough, insightful analysis

        Supporting the Franchise team to meet and exceed Plan revenue
