The Emerging Tech Quality Engineer will report to the Sr Engineering Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Improve the efficiency of the Quality Testing effort through traditional and AI/ML-based solutions.

  • Identify repetitive manual workflows and develop systems to automate them at scale.

  • Partner with QDs to explore AI/ML opportunities, define use cases, and support change management.

  • Report regular status against assigned tasks and identify project risks.

  • Participate in the team's Agile software development process, including scoping, detailed design, effort estimation, coding, debugging, maintenance and support

  • Support our quality partners through daily user feedback, documentation, and one-on-one training

  • Document and present designs for peer technical review and provide feedback on others' designs


Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with at least one of the following: C#, C++, Python, or Java

  • Experience with version control and build systems.

  • Experience with database tech (sql or nosql) such as MSSQL, Azure Data Explorer (ADX), MYSQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch

  • Experience working with bug management or task tracking software such as Jira, Qmetry, TestRail

  • Experience with full-stack web app development, working on both back-end (Angular, NodeJS) and frontend (C# Services)

  • Experience with charting or business intelligence tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Power BI, Looker, Tableau or similar BI tools

  • Experience designing and building tools in an iterative model.
