  • Coach and mentor individuals, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing culture.

  • Partner with Technical Directors to drive technical strategy, ensuring solutions are scalable, performant, and maintainable.

  • Work together with fellow Engineering Managers and Leads from various studios and centralized teams to align on standards, exchange best practices, and maintain consistency in both quality and processes.

Delivery & Execution

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of engineering initiatives — from scoping to risk management and progress tracking.

  • Oversee workflows, sprint planning, and backlog management to ensure clear priorities and predictable delivery.

  • Define and monitor KPIs for quality, stability, performance, and delivery predictability.

  • Drive continuous improvement through CI/CD, automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Stakeholder & Resource Management

  • Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and ongoing progress.

  • Manage resources across projects to maintain high delivery standards.

  • Communicate risks, dependencies, and achievements clearly and proactively, advocating for your team’s impact across Battlefield.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in software development, including 2+ in people management or team leadership.

  • Proven track record leading engineering teams delivering complex tools or systems.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.

  • Skilled in Jira or similar project management tools.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills.

  • Proven experience leading process improvements and managing delivery metrics.
