Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

The EA app is our direct-to-consumer platform. It is the front door to EA where millions of players discover games, connect with friends, and play. We are looking for a designer who is excited to learn fast, take ownership, and design meaningful experiences at scale. You will eventually report to the Director of Experience Design and work hybrid in the Vancouver office.

What you'll do

You will involve yourself in the full design process, from understanding players to shipping features:

  • Talk directly with players to understand their needs, motivations, and frustrations

  • Turn insights into concepts, user flows, and UI designs

  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma

  • Test your designs with users and iterate based on feedback and data

  • Partner with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality experiences

What you'll learn and how you'll grow

  • You will build end-to-end product design skills, from research to launch

  • You will gain hands-on experience with modern practices like user interviews, prototyping, and rapid experimentation

  • You will learn how to design for a global audience of millions of players

  • You will present ideas and influencing product decisions

We're looking for someone who

  • Is curious about players and motivated to solve real-world problems.

  • Enjoy collaborating across design, product, and engineering

  • Communicate ideas and care about craft and detail

  • Have 1–3 years of UX or product design experience, or equivalent

Why the EA app?

This is one of EA's most important products and our direct connection to players. Your work will ship to millions, people will test it in the real world, and you will evolve it quickly. It is a place to learn fast, experiment, and have an impact on how players experience EA.
