We're searching for an Experiential Quality Product Owner, to support our Ripple Effect studio in creating the next Battlefield experience. You will report to the Head of Experiential Quality of Battlefield QV.

You will be part of a dynamic team driving an important strategic pillar for EA, focused on ensuring the quality of Battlefield exceeds our player’s expectations. Our team are integrated partners in the Battlefield product development organization, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Quality across every Battlefield experience.

The Experiential Quality Product Owner is part of a versatile team focused on improving Battlefield player experience through impactful qualitative feedback processes.

Responsibilities

  • You will guide the Experiential Quality assessment for Battlefield experiences being developed out of our Ripple Effect studio.
  • You will represent the voice of the player informed by a detailed understanding of the product vision, game design, player motivations and market expectations.
  • You will help coordinate insight and feedback activities to support a comprehensive view of Experiential Quality in your area.
  • You will frequently playtest the game and stay connected to development progress & plans.
  • You will analyze feedback and data from all quality insight sources and translate those insights into a clear and objective view of experiential quality for your area.
  • You will communicate experiential quality assessments to product and studio leaders, identifying quality risks and mitigation opportunities
  • You will collaborate with Studio, Creative and Product leaders to prioritize areas for deeper qualitative analysis
  • You will contribute to QVS project and milestone evaluation and reporting processes
  • You will collaborate with other QVS leaders and teammates to evolve Experiential Quality approach and best practices
  • You will partner with User Experience Research, Quality Design, Analytics, and Design to gather the needed data to inform quality assessment.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of game product management, game production or game design experience.
  • Experience using data, player and audience insights to inform product design & iteration
  • Experience communicating with product and creative stakeholders.
  • Experience navigating and coordinating across a variety of teams and organizations.
  • Experience operating autonomously.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools.
  • You have a passion for video games, in particular the FPS genre.
  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $133,400 - $193,200 CAD
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane)
    • $142,900 - $230,000 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
